Summer Dissertation Boot Camp
We are excited to offer the opportunity to participate in Dissertate in Eight, the University Writing Center's (UWC) dissertation completion boot camp, in Summer 2013. The eight week camp is designed to provide support for those working on some facet of their dissertation regardless of where they are in the process. This program is gloriously free.
The camp members meet every Wednesday afternoon of the summer session from 1:00pm-4:30pm (6/19, 6/26, 7/3, 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31, 8/7) in the Writing Center's classroom. Computers are provided for your use or you may bring a laptop if you prefer.
Each session will include approximately an hour and a half of information related to the dissertation process as well as time to work on your dissertation and time to meet with UWC consultants to discuss your writing and/or dissertation related concerns.
If you'd like to participate, contact Gail Jacky at 815-753-6636 or by email at gjacky@niu.edu.
